Hi, I’m Tanya.
I write about the tender, tangled parts of being human. Stories that sit with vulnerability, chase courage, and embrace change.

About Me
I'm Tanya Jain, a writer, cultural observer, and former designer exploring the raw intersections of identity, power, love, and modern womanhood. My work is rooted in emotional honesty and nuance, inviting readers to sit with discomfort, clarity, and, ultimately, transformation.
My work has appeared in The Metrognome, BusinessWorld, Daily Excelsior, and Life & More, covering everything from literature as a mirror of self to how women are reshaping industries with courage and creativity. Whether I’m reflecting on the emotional terrain of womanhood or untangling ambition in a post-feminist world, my writing holds space for truth-telling and contradiction.
I’m currently working on my second novel, a contemporary work of fiction blending intimacy with cultural sharpness. My storytelling explores the fragile, often volatile space between tenderness and rage, devotion and desire, duty and selfhood.
Currently based in Mumbai, I'm a writer in progress chasing stories in both stillness and motion. This space is where I build my voice, one honest word at a time.
